Areas of Work: Gender Segregated Facilities
Trans and gender gender non-conforming people face severe access problems when it comes to gender-segregated facilities like bathrooms, locker rooms, shelters, in-patient drug treatment facilities, prisons and jails, etc. These resources share about current efforts in New York to make gender-segregated facilities safer and more accessible for transgender and gender non-conforming people, and provide models and tools for activists and others doing this work elsewhere.
