Summer Health Series, Community Health Centers

Where:
SRLP, 147 W 24th Street, 5th Floor Trains: C/E/F/M/R/N/1

The Sylvia Rivera Summer Heath series is focused on creating safe spaces for low income people and/or color who are transgender, gender non-conforming or intersex.

Join us for the final installment of the Summer Health Series, October 12th, 6-8PM to talk about your experiences at Community Health Centers.

COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTERS
are an important resource for marginalized communities in New York but often fail to provide care for TGNCI communities. Accessing gender affirming health care in New York City can feel impossible, especially for low income and people of color.

This event co-sponsered by The Audre Lorde Project is an opportunity for us to discuss experiences at different heath centers and share recommendations about affirming centers, doctors and other providers.
Bring your experiences and visions for change!

All are welcome!
