Dana was an outspoken trans activist and attorney who worked with SRLP during our early years, providing key support to trans, intersex and gender non-conforming people in prison and participating in our documentary film project, Toilet Training.  Dana was a talented, fiercely intelligent advocate and we will miss her and remember her.  Her life and her passing inspire us to press on in the struggles she was a part of, fighting for the lives of people impacted by HIV, transphobia, criminalization, poverty and racism, and fighting to build new imaginations of justice.  For more information and where to donate, click on the blog entry  "From Transgender to Transhuman"
