Save the Date: Join me at the SRLP Awards on 11/18!

In the midst of litigation to repeal the regulation that prevents trans people from accessing Medicaid coverage, our community still has plenty of work ahead of us. One thing we know for sure is that what sustains us in a long struggle is the celebration and appreciation of the comrades, allies, and supporters who have made this possible.

So I hope you’ll join me at the SRLP Attorneys and Advocates Awards on November 18 to honor the legal advocates and grassroots organizers who have worked tirelessly to win access to Medicaid coverage for transgender-related healthcare so that all trans New Yorkers can get the healthcare we need to survive and thrive. I hope you’ll help us in showing our gratitude and sustaining our work by joining me at the event and spreading the word to your friends!
