 il Night is a volunteer opportunity that allows community members and alli
 es to come together and write informative letters to transgender\, gender 
 non-conforming\, and intersex people who have written to SRLP from behind 
 bars across the US.\n\nSRLP is only able to provide direct legal services 
 to people in New York State\, but we know that there are not enough resour
 ces out there for any incarcerated person\, let alone TGNCI folks. So we h
 old this night in order to respond thoroughly and with love to these write
 rs and to invite them to join our Movement Building Team through the Priso
 ner Advisory Committee.\n\nIf this is your first time please feel reassure
 d that there will be a brief orientation in the first half-hour and Mik is
  always present throughout the night to help answer any questions. There i
 s no need for you to have any previous knowledge of the law in order to vo
 lunteer! All you need is kindness\, energy\, attention to detail\, and som
 e level of comfort around using a computer.\n \nWhen: We aim to hold the
 se nights on the first Friday of each month\, but they are subject to chan
 ge. We begin at 6pm and end at 8pm. **If this is your first time attending
  I ask that you show up at 6pm for a brief orientation\, but if you have h
