COMMUNITY FORUM ON NYPD PATROL GUIDE CHANGES

Want to know more about recent changes to the NYPD’s policies for interactions with transgender & gender non conforming people?

Join us for a community forum on October 25th at 7pm! Find out what these changes mean for our community!

What:

  • a history of the community organizing and advocacy that has led to this victory for LGBTGNCQ people in NYC and beyond!
  • a panel discussion to share recent announced changes to the NYPD Patrol Guide which will touch on name and pronoun use, searches, placement in NYC custody, and more!
  • more information on our RIGHTS when interacting with police officers
  • ways to get involved in ongoing campaigns for safety and justice of communities, and for a transparent and accountable NYPD!
