SRLP’s Director of Membership Sasha Alexander was interviewed in a CBS article regarding Caitlyn Jenner’s surgery.

While much of the media’s focus on Caitlyn Jenner’s transition has been sensationalistic, Sasha used this opportunity of wide media coverage to draw attention to the diversity of trans experiences, the lack of access to trans healthcare due to discrimination and institutionalized barriers, and the necessity of adequate healthcare for safety from violence and harassment for our communities. Read the article in depth here
